1. What is a 360º image and where can I get one?

A 360º image is technically called an Equirectangular image. Basically, when looked at in 2D, an equirectangular image looks a bit distorted, like this:

But when wrapped around a sphere, this image looks perfectly normal. Depending on the quality of the image you should be able to appreciate some depth perception and all.

You can visit boxApp’s own Image Bank to download royalty free 360º images.

2. What is a World and how to create one?

Every 360º image or video that you upload into boxApp is automatically turned into a World.

3. What are Tooltips?

Tooltips allow you insert images and videos into any World that you create. You can also insert text and a call to action button using Tooltips, which makes them a great marketing tool for your VR tours.

4. What are Navigation Buttons?

Navigation Buttons allow you to create VR tours, by giving users the ability to move from one World to another.

A common scenario for using Navigation Buttons is a walk-through for a Real Estate listing; real estate agents can use VR tours to offer a guided tour through the property.
